Brooke Ellen Sanchez is a native of Mobile, Alabama where she attended college at the University of South Alabama. In 2002, she graduated from USA with a B.S. degree in Communications. After college, Brooke attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and obtained her Juris Doctris in 2005. While in law school, Brooke served as an officer in Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She also served as an officer of the Hispanic Student Association.
Brooke was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in September, 2006. Brooke started her legal career working for the State of Florida’s Department of Health in the Prosecution Services Unit, in which she prosecuted health care professionals who failed to meet the standard of care set out by Florida Law.
In 2008, Brooke joined the Law Firm of Lewis & Jurnovoy, P.A., as an associate attorney focusing her practice on consumer rights law, to include Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, and pursuing violations of State and Federal consumer protection laws.
Brooke was admitted to practice law in the State of Alabama in October 2014, and has worked as an associate attorney at the Law Firm of Stephen L. Klimjack, LLC. Her primary emphasis continued to be in the representation of consumers and sole proprietors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.
Brooke has participated in cases dealing with mortgages, past due mortgage payments, taxes, tax liens and levies, student loans, signature loans, credit cards, foreclosures, repossessio ns, deficiencies, title loans, pawns, car loans, medical bills, leases, rent to own contracts, time shares, personal services contracts, cosigned loans, debt consolidations, alimony, and child support payments. Further, she has participated in over 3,000 bankruptcy cases.
In December 2015, Brooke joined the law firm of John V. Lee, LLC. Brooke continues to focus her practice on consumer rights laws, including Bankruptcy, debt collector harassment, credit reporting disputes, adversary proceedings, student loan law, and debt settlement.
Brooke is a member of the Escambia/Santa Rosa County Bar Association, the Northern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Mobile Bar Association, NACBA, and the C.A.R.E. program.
Brooke and her husband, Chris, have one son and enjoy living in Midtown Mobile.
